The future direction of Prophet Corporation
Prophet Corporation has set its long term sights on developing and owning “pre-designed”
electronics and software products that can be sold as intellectual property (IP) and technical
know-how to reduce the time to market for original equipment manufacturers. Product
complexity, reduced product cycles, and design complexity will create a market for these
products and a competitive advantage for our customers. Prophet Corporation will strive
to live up to its name and foresee the future of certain market segments and technologies.
The products will be sold as:
• Completely functional PCB’s with documentation and warranties
• Reference designs, with schematics, source code, bills of materials, and client training
• Soft components, such as schematic libraries or source code modules
• Other modules or IP capable of being sold on a royalty basis
